Taylor’s Corner: Utilizing Cloverleaf’s New Speech Insights Feature

Cloverleaf customers now have a great new way to interact with data by utilizing Speech Insights. Using this generative AI tool, we are able to create dashboards and reports, access insights on the data, forecast and more within seconds. This tool makes exploring your data more accessible and effective to technical or non-technical user.

In a Discovery you can click the chat icon (red highlight) on the bottom right of the page to open the chatbot. Press and hold the microphone button (yellow highlight) and once it turns red you can begin to speak into the microphone. Once done asking your questions or giving instructions, just release the microphone button.

Building a Report with Speech Insights

For this example, I am looking to create an area chart comparing two different premiums categorized by their territory.

Opening the chatbot and pressing the microphone button, I will instruct the tool to do so.

After a few seconds, discovery of the model written premium and the base written premium are shown in a stacked area chart. AI will even notify with a message saying “It’s all done!”

We can also use the tool to add further detail or drill down on a discovery. Shown below, I have asked for a line graph of the ‘rate change’ to be added to the chart and the discovery was produced.

 

Looking at the data, I noticed there is a drop in the rate change around territory 12. Wanting a further explanation, I can ask the AI Chat to explain what is happening in that area.

I am then given a deep explanation into the data – what it consists of, is influenced by and represents.

All chart styles can quickly and efficiently be created within seconds. Next, I want to look at a simple matrix grid of the earned premium and written premium by account and policy effective date details. One sentence and seconds later, I am given a discovery of that request.

Report is then created.

Creating a Dashboard

Simple or complex dashboards can be created quickly utilizing this tool.

Open the Presentation model and chose your theme and layout.

For this example, I would like to see a business overview dashboard of various details. Based on the given list of requirements, long or short, a complex dashboard of this can be created.

Asking the chatbot, first select the model to use.

Once the model is selected, I am going to speak my long list of requirements I want the dashboard to show. The chatbot will take a few seconds to sort the request.

Within 30 seconds the dashboard is then created. The chatbot will describe what data is being presented on the slide.

 

You can also use the chatbot to add further slicers, more analytics, change or remove details, and more.

Wanting further details of the dashboard, I ask the chat box to describe the layout. An explanation of each report is then given to me.
